Unique Blogger Award!

Bit of a different post, today, but I would love to thank Amber over at Amber Highlights for nominating me for the Unique Blogger Award!

As part of the Award, Amber has sent some questions to answer, so here they are with my answers…

How would you manage a week without an internet connection?

I probably wouldn’t – I’m a social media addict and also a student Journalist so I’m forever checking what is going on both locally and around the world. Maybe I should give myself a challenge and try it though!

What’s one weird talent you wish you had?

I wish I was bendier or had better party tricks. I love it when people can do weird and wonderful things with their bodies, it leaves me in awe.

Which blog inspires you the most and why?

I have always been a massive fan of Amber Dusick over at crappypictures.com. She was my inspiration for my crappy doodles. Her blog has never failed to put a smile on my face and I have even bought her book!

If you had to have your vocabulary limited to 3 words for a year, what words would you choose?

That would be so hard! But probably the phrase, “love you Ollie” since I could never go a day without telling my son that I love him.

Describe your ideal day.

Day on the couch with a blanket, chocolate and films with my son – for Winter.

Or, a day in the garden with a BBQ on the go and a drink in hand – for Summer.

Now that’s me done!

Post your favourite blogs in the comments so that I can find new people to be nominated for the award.

Ostrich and Ollie

This one is more of a fictional post, rather than a anecdote based on my life or the people in it.

Then again, the character is based on my son! Although, he doesn’t have a pet ostrich.

This was a project that I did for college a few years back. It was both written and illustrated by myself.

Feeling a bit “legless”!

So yeah, this one doesn’t have any Doodles (sorry!) but I am including a video instead. Please excuse the state of me and the fact that it is addressed to my mum – I wanted her to be the first to see. The video is from a couple of weeks ago, but there has been little/no improvement since.

Oh and while I’m actually typing, I am now officially a DOT COM domain! Woo! So new web address is http://www.doodleasido.com

This is a poem that I put together for a competition winner, on my Facebook Page.

My Doodles don’t do this little girls memory justice, so it is purely poem.
